PAL Jaya Serves Wastewater Quality Inspection

The city-owned sewerage company PD PAL Jaya opens access to Jakartans who want to check the quality of their wastewater. There are nine parameters that can be checked in the lab.

PD PAL Jaya President Director Subekti said the water quality inspection results in the PAL Jaya labo have a high degree of accuracy.

"Our lab has an UV-Vis spectrophotometer, automatic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS), and other supporting equipments," he expressed, Monday (10/28).

To do it, people can consult directly to the PD PAL Jaya office in Setiabudi, South Jakarta.

"All you have to do is fill out the form and bring the sample. The results will be known 10 days later," he explained.

PD PAL Jaya Corporate Secretary Mala S Ramadona added some parameters that can be tested in the lab include the measurement of the level of pH water, temperature conductivity, DO, TSS, TDS, Ammonia, MBAS and KMnO4.

"This inspection method refers to SNI. Besides that the lab has been certified with the KAN and ISO 17025:2005 accredited for the nine parameters," he stated.
